Delegation of the St. Paul University of the Philippines Visited SITC

On June 24th, delegation of the St. Paul University of the Philippines visited SITC. Gu Xiumei, deputy director of the Department of External Exchange and Cooperation, Wu Lei, vice president of the School of Accounting and International Trade and relevant specialty leaders received the guests in the meeting room 216.

At the meeting, Gu Xiumei extended a warm welcome and introduced SITC’s history, faculty, specialties and students. She said that China and the Philippines were good-neighborly and friendly countries, and hoped that SITC and the St. Paul University of the Philippines could reach cooperation and develop together in the future. Representative of the St. Paul University of the Philippines expressed her gratitude to our college for the warm reception. She expounded the history, specialties and overseas student enrollment policies of her university. Afterwards, participants discussed issues concerning education and teaching, talent cultivation mode and degree promotion programs for teachers and students.

This meeting laid a good foundation for cooperation between the two colleges. Both sides expressed their hope to take this meeting as an opportunity to actively promote exchange visits between teachers and studentsas well as students' overseas degree program, and jointly boost international exchanges and cooperation between the two colleges.
